Juanjo has always said he’s a storyteller by vocation who was lucky enough to make it his profession. During his time at Canal + Spain, he was, among other things, a member of the original team behind Informe Robinson (winner of an Ondas Award). Later, he co-founded the production company La Caña Brothers, where he worked for 11 years, before moving on to a new stage in his journey by founding THE TINTIRIN TEAM.
With a broad professional career spanning more than 25 years, working in the creation, development, direction, production and sale of various types of content, he has co-led documentary series formats on Movistar+ such as Cuando ya no esté by Iñaki Gabilondo (TV Academy Award winner), various formats with Jon Sisitaga, such as Tabú (Ondas Award) and Estados Desunidos on Movistar + and Proyecto Sistiaga on CuatroTV. He has also directed some of the most important assets in Spain, such as Dabiz Muñoz in UniverXO Dabiz (Netflix), Rafael Nadal (Telefónica), Marc Marquez (RedBull Media House), etc… and has even tried out the world of cinema as Executive Producer in films such as Sordo (Netflix) or Los Días No Vividos (RTVE). Member of the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (Emmy Awards) since 2025.
